NEW FBC UNIFORMS!! GET YOURS NOW!!
Lynn Dobson, Sunday, 26 October 2008 FBC has updated its uniform!! All players in the 2009/2010 season must be in the new uniform by game one! Please call Lynn (Humma) on 0433 783 732 or email her on lynn.fraser@madgwicks.com.au to order your uniform ASAP. You will be required to purchase an undershirt and overshirt. We will use the same hats and still have red belt and red socks. We will be wearing grey pants and these can be purchaser at any baseball outlet (some of them do a good deal for pants, belt and socks) Juniors are not required to change their uniform. The undershirts are available to be purchased by supporters also!

MEN'S BASEBALL NEWS

Our men's teams continue to plug away in Division 2 and although they have had some big scores against them, they have been playing very well and doing FBC proud!
Games for the re-start of the 2009/10 season are as follows:
First IX - Sunday 17 January versus Berwick at Berwick commencing at 3.30pm
Second IX - Sunday 17 January versus Berwick at Berwick commecning at 1.00pm
Third IX - Sunday 17 January versus Berwick at FBC commencing at 1.00pm (yes an early start!!)
It would be great to see a lot of supporters at all of the remaining games.

MALE AND FEMALE WINTER PLAYERS WANTED!

Footscray Baseball Club is seeking more winter players. Over the past few years our winter numbers have grown and this year we have had a lot of interest from our many women's players to enter a women's team into a winter competition too!
We will again be entering 2 teams in the VWBL Open winter competition, hopefully in B and B Reserve grades. Women are premitted play in this competition. The games are played on Saturday afternoons in a home and away format.
The BV Women's Winter competition is played on Sunday afternoons.

JUNIOR BASEBALL NEWS!

Little League
Our Little League team are the current reigning premiers and continue to dominate the competition, sitting in top spot on the ladder coming into the Christmas Break. Well done to all players and coaching staff and to all of the supporters, of course!
The next game for the Little Leaguers is on 5 February 2010 at 6.30pm at Williamstown.
Under 14
Our Under 14 team have improved immensely over the first part of the season and are currently in 4th spot on the ladder and looking forward to a finals appearance!
The next game for the Under 14s is on 5 February 2010 at 6.30pm at Werribee.
Under 16
Our Under 16 team is a combined Foostcray/Williamstown team and after a slow start to the season, the wins have been much more frequent as they players get used to each other and find their groove! Our Under 16s are in 3rd place on the ladder.
The next game for the Under 16s is on 31 January 2010 at 9.00am at Wiliamstown.

WOMEN'S BASEBALL NEWS
Lynn Dobson, Thursday, 26 October 2006 Our women's team are in second place on the Division 3 ladder. They have been frustrated by having 4 forfeits against them in just the fisrt half of the season, but hope that they can manage a bit more game time in the second half!
The next game for the women is on 16 January against Upwey Ferntree Gully at the FBC at 2.00pm. All supporters most welcome!
